Fav Track: You've Got To Hide Your Love Away (Help)
“This is the first Beatles song that I connected with. When I think of the boys, this is the song that starts playing in my head. I'm still struggling to play it on guitar!”
My Comments
-
“A fantastic follow up to Help! In terms of production, songwriting, and performance, this is a real contender for Best Beatles Album--right up there with Help! and Abbey Road.”
Rubber Soul on 22nd Oct 09.

“I have been slowly working my way through the remastered catalog. Last night we got to Revolver. As far as the resmastering goes, all I can say is "fail". The mix and the sound quality are substandard compared to the earlier albums. As for the material, it's about 50% so-so and 50% $&!T. People call this innovative. They are deluding themselves! It's drugged out crap.”
Revolver on 22nd Oct 09.

“The remaster has brought an incredible presence to this album. There are details that have never been heard before. You can hear the breath of the singers, the squeak of pedals and strings, and the resonance of the drums. The sound of this brilliant and underrated album is so good now that it is like you are there in the studio.
Lennon really shines on this album vocally, lyrically, and musically. His contributions are some of his strongest up to the release of this album. His trilogy "No Reply/I'm a Loser/Baby's In Black" reveals a deepening soul and a man suffering an inner turmoil.”
Beatles For Sale on 17th Sep 09.

“The non-film soundtrack songs show the most improvement in sound. Overall, the difference between this and the original CD release is not as significant as it is on other albums.”
A Hard Day's Night on 17th Sep 09.
-
“The remaster is fantastic! The sound is clean and bold. In many cases one would swear that the boys are singing right in your living room. All those little annoying problems of the 1987 CD release are gone! Plus, it's in stereo! Great job!”
With The Beatles on 14th Sep 09.
-
“Spent last evening with the new remaster of PPM! Wow! They fixed all the problems with the 1989 CD! It sounds amazing! I'm in love with this album all over again!”
Please Please Me on 12th Sep 09.
-
“I've always been blown away by their version of Miss Lizzy! I can't wait to hear it remastered!”
Dizzy Miss Lizzy on 11th Sep 09.

“I opted just to order my faves:
Please Please Me, With The Beatles, A Hard Days Night, Beatles for Sale, Help!, Rubber Soul, Revolver, and Abbey Road. Please Mr. Postman, deliver my Beatles to me!!”09.09.09 is here! on 11th Sep 09.

“Music fan for life. The Beatles introduced me to Rock and Roll. Before I heard them, all I listened to was Classical music. They changed the way I heard music. One of my lifetime ambitions is to play on guitar the entire Help! album.”
