“At 9 years old this was the first time i saw fabness on the Ed Sullivan show 1966 & it was my father who called me to the tv yelling Gazz the Beatles are on, it's special to me as it was pure magic seeing them perform in front of your eyes in your own loungeroom in those fabulous Sgt. Pepper outfits even though Australia was still in black & white but in my eyes it was a mass of mop top colour. A very precious memory as i no longer have my Dad with me but just like John & George he's always in my heart,my feet never touched the ground for the rest of the 60's & wherever i am in the world when i hear Hello Goodbye i'm transported back to that magic night all those years ago in 1966 & i thank the Beatles for making my life so very rich in a way no money in the world could ever buy.”

“I am Australian & grew up in the 60s listening to the Beatles, i fell in love with them instantly & am still as mad about them as ever.I am now 51 years old & i work in hospitallity but have always wanted to work with music, everyone who knows me say i have an amazing knowledge of all music, but i am at my happiest when i can just listen to The Beatles (especially Abbey Road).”

“1969 Christmas presents but no Beatles record but just like magic my Aunt Betty gets me an album but oh no it's the soundtrack of hair, to my surprise i'm told if i want to exchange it for another i can with the receipt. So my 10 year old legs could not get to the shop quick enough on December 27th 1969 at 9am to swap it for the album i was so desperate to have Abbey Road, this i did with gusto & absolutely no shame & i will never forget when i got it in my hands i now had the keys to paradise. Ever since that incredible day i have never stopped playing it & i've never tired of it, even to this day it still takes you on that journey of escapism. That Australian summer a very hot one was just filled with days & freinds & Abbey Road, and that is why i won't get the new digital one until 9am Dec 27th 2009 exactly 40 years to the minute which is best summed up in the end - the love you take is equal to the love you make.”
