Fav Track: Your Mother Should Know (MMT)

I don't think I can pick a favourite song. All of them are amazing! I can't explain what I feel like when I listen to their music. It's pure genuis. Asking me to pick a favourite Beatle song is like choosing your favourite child. It's that hard of a dicision. It usually changes from time to time. One day I could really like 'Let It Be' the next it's 'She Loves You'. They wrote many amazing songs back in the day. From 'Love Me Do' to their last number one 'The Long And Winding Road' each of their songs were pure brilliance.

Liverpool 2010
.......................
Hey everybody! I'm back. Firstly I would like to apolgize because I've not been online for the past weeks because I've been away enjoying my holiday in Liverpool.

5th August 2010
..........................
I stayed in a campsite about 25 miles from Liverpool so it was about a 20 minute drive there. On the 4th of August me and my family drove a few miles down the road and when we stopped by the marina I could see The John Lennon airport. I had shivers down my spine. It was only across the river and I would be there the next day. I'd been waiting for this trip for ages. It seemed like a eternity. Finally the day had arrived. I could hardly sllep the previous night. While we were driving there I was so exited. The miles were going down every minute. 20 miles. 17 miles. 10 miles. 5 miles. I couldn't wait to get started on my Beatle summer! When we first arrived I had hot chocolate because it was freezing outside. It also didn't help what I was wearing. A Beatles vest top, leggings and pumps. We hopped on a city sight seeing bus and it would take us all around Liverpool. I sat next to my twin sister, Laura, on the bus and we passed The Liver Building, The River Mersey and The Three Grace's (Or in my case, me, Laura and my father. Our surname being Grace we thought it would be funny to have our picture taken with them). Anyway, we passed 'A Hard Day's Night' Hotel and there were pictures of John, Paul, George, Ringo outside and there were statues of them on the hotel it's self. We got off the bus there and walked down the road and we discovered The Cavern. While we were walking down the famous Mathew Street, all of these thoughts entered my head. Things like 'The Beatles acctually walked down this street'. I could not belive it. A 14 year old girl from Wales was in the hometown of the most amazing band in the world. I went into a Beatles shop that was down the road from The Cavern and I bought a Beatles guitar strap. Then I finally got into the famous Cavern Club. The original entrance was no longer there so you had to go in another way. As I was walking down the stairs my heart was pounding. This is it. After walking down a few stairs I was in. The Cavern was amazing. It was just like I imagined it and better. The wall was full of messages from Beatle fans. I actually wrote my name on the wall with my mothers lipstick. There were pictures all over the walls of The Beatles and people that had performed there. I noticed people were going up on the stage and having their picture taken. Laura went up and had her picture taken and my mother asked me to get up on stage. I couldn't. Something was holding me back. I couldn't stand on the same stage as The Beatles did. In the end, she finally convinced me. I got up and posed with a acoustic guiitar that was on the stage. As I was on the stage I couldn't help but think of The Beatles the whole time I was on stage. Don't worry, I've got plenty of pictures to show you all!

I'd have to admit, my time in Liverpool was amazing but when I arrived there for the second time, it was so much more better. We all went on this thing called The Fab Four Taxi Tour. If you ever go to Liverpool I would highly recommend it. We went around all of Liverpool in a taxi for 3 hours. It sounds boring but it was amazing. We visited where John was born and where he got Married to Cynthia. We visited where John met Paul, all of their school's that they went to and loads more. I will post links taking you to the pictures very soon. Hope you enjoyed reading this and please take a look at the piuctures. They are well worth it!

About me

We Love Them, Yeah Yeah Yeah! Hey there my fellow Beatlefreaks! I'm Amy. Don't be afraid to add me I'm always looking for new friends! I just started liking The Beatles about 12 months ago and I'm in love with them! I cannot stop singing their songs! I alrady own a load of Beatles stuff. I currently own 14 albums (I'm trying to collect them all. They don't come cheap you know) And I have one John Lennon CD and one Macca CD. I also have 9 records (You know, them really old things) I have many, many books about The Beatles. Right now I'm reading 'Revolution in the Head' by Ian Macdonald. I would highly recommend it. It's pure brilliance. I also own many posters/pictures and canvases. I own a wide range of memrobilia from badges and guitar picks to T-Shirts and bags. Feel free to tell me anything! I'm not trying to brag or anything but if you know of any Beatle memrobilia shops or whatever please tell me! Anything that's got 'Beatles' written on it, I've probably got it. I was very lucky to get the chance to go to Liverpool this year. It was amazing!

Fav album
Please Please Me

I can't even begin to pick a favourite song let along album. Even though Please Please me was only recorded in a 12 hour session it still sounds fresh and really polished and amazing. I guess that's why I picked it. It might be 'Revolver' next week!
